Western Australia Space Week is set to launch this November at Crown, Perth! Join us for the landmark 30th edition of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-30) alongside official side-events, the Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference (IPSEC) and the Australian Space Education Forum. This year, we are excited to present a special highlight - a joint APRSAF and IPSEC trade exhibition, showcasing innovations and partnerships in space and Earth sciences and technologies.
REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
MySecurity Media and The Association Specialists (TAS) have been engaged to manage registration, bookings and payments for APRSAF-30.
All enquiries relating these matters should be directed to The Association Specialists at waspaceweek@theassociationspecialists.com.au.
By submitting this Registration Form, you agree that the Organiser may collect, use and disclose your personal data, as provided in this application form to receive communications containing information related to APRSAF events.
All personal information provided upon registration will be used only for the purpose of APRSAF-30 and related events. Unless otherwise agreed by you or requested by law, your personal information will not be disclosed to third parties.
When registering to attend the Forum, you accept the following registration terms:
1. CONTRACT AND PRICE
1.1 All prices displayed on the website are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST, unless otherwise indicated.
2. PAYMENTS
2.1 Once registration is received, a confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued.
2.2 Full payment must be received in order to be considered registered for the Forum.
2.3 Payment should be made online with valid credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), or by electronic bank transfer. All bank fees and surcharge for credit cards are to be covered by the remitter.
2.4 Any accounts must be paid in full 14 days from the invoice date or 10 business days before the Forum start date, whichever comes first.
2.5 The Organisers reserve the right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts anytime after 45 days from date of the tax invoice being sent.
2.6 If payment is not received prior to the Forum, access will be granted only after full payment is made via credit card.
2.7 Students are required to show their student ID at the registration desk. Failure to present a student ID at the venue will result in the payment of the onsite registration fee of AUD180.
3. REFUND/STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations, amendments and substitutions must be made in writing to The Association Specialists to waspaceweek@theassociationspecialists.com.au and CC'd aprsaf30@aprsaf.org.
The following terms will apply to any notice of cancellation of attendance at the Forum received:
1) 70% refund for cancellation on or before 22 October 2024
2) NO refund for cancellation on or after 23 October 2024
3) Registration is transferrable, if you wish to transfer your registration to another individual, please inform the Professional Conference Organisers (PCO) of the new attendee's full contact information by emailing waspaceweek@theassociationspecialists.com.au and CC'd aprsaf30@aprsaf.org.
4) Balance will NOT be refunded if you convert your participation format from onsite to online.
• Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses.
• Registration fee is required only for the program held from 26 to 29 November 2024 at APRSAF-30.
• APRSAF registration fee is not required for those who will participate only in Side Events. However, separate registration fees may apply for certain Side Events.
We do understand that circumstances change and are happy to look at cancellations on a case-by-case scenario. At any point prior to the Forum you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge.
If a registered delegate fails to attend the Forum without providing prior notice, then a refund will not be provided.
Should you have difficulties in obtaining your visa and are not able to attend the Forum this cancellation policy still applies.
4. INSURANCE
It is strongly recommended that registrants take out insurance at the time of registration to include any eventuality including but not limited to loss of fees through cancellation of registrant’s participation in the Forum or through cancellation of the Forum, loss of airfares through cancellation for any reason, loss or damages to personal property, force majeure or any other reason.
5. PHOTOGRAPHY
By registering for APRSAF-30 you are hereby giving permission to photograph or video you, for use in our publications, website and any other promotional material associated with WA Space Week.
You can withdraw consent to your photograph/s or video image being used - please contact the event organiser in writing to aprsaf30@aprsaf.org and waspaceweek@theassociationspecialists.com.au – prior to or during the event.
APRSAF-30 and related events:
By participating in APRSAF-30, you grant WA Government, MySecurity Media, JAXA and ASA the right to:
• Use your name and likeness for the purpose of organising and/or managing the event and for related promotional purposes.
• Allow photographs, videos and interview of the said participant to be used as program publicity, including display boards, booklets, and brochures.
• Allow the presentation materials for each Working Group and Space Industry Workshop to be available only to Working Group and Space Industry Workshop participants on APRSAF Website.
• Allow the presentation materials for plenary session to be opened to the public on APRSAF Website.
APRSAF-30/IPSEC Joint Exhibition Hall and Welcome Reception:
By participating or attending the Joint Exhibition Hall, along with JAXA and the Australian Space Agency, you also grant MySecurity Media, permissions as above at these activities/events.
Please contact us for further details on our data protection policy, including how you can access and correct your personal data or withdraw consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data. Please note that removal of your contact details may result in the Organiser’s inability to provide relevant information for the event.
6. GENERAL
All details on the Forum website are subject to change without notice.
The APRSAF Secretariat has the right to make changes to the program, including presenters and sessions where necessary.
In the unlikely event that a presenter withdraws or cannot travel, APRSAF Secretariat reserves the right to make the appropriate decision in the best interest of the Forum – this may include not offering refunds, changes to the program and cancelling sessions.
