The VSNMT encourages all registered nuclear medicine technologist to take up membership of the society. Membership offers professional development opportunities, educational resources, advocacy of the profession with government and educational bodies, and active promotion of the profession as a career. The Society’s membership year follows the financial year i.e. 1 July to 30 June.

i. Be registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the Medical Radiations Practice Board of Australia.
ii. Have at any time been registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Australia
iii. Have in the previous six months graduated from a program of study approved by the Medical Radiations Practice Board of Australia.
