ASM Dinner
The ASM Dinner is included in full delegate registration categories only (CE Workshop, ASM & Dinner / ASM and Dinner). Please notify the Conference Managers if you are unable to attend the dinner. Extra dinner tickets may be purchased for $125.00 via registration or by contacting the Conference Managers.

On Arrival
Each delegate will receive a name badge and Conference material upon visiting the registration desk. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions.

Payment Terms and Conditions
Credit Card: Payment via online registration is preferred. Accepted credit cards: MasterCard and Visa. All transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment on behalf of the ACTRA ASM and Continuing Education Day 2019.

Payment on Invoice - Group Registrations
Single Registration or Group registrations requesting payment on invoice must ensure payment is received within 14 days of registration to secure the single or group registration at this event. Failure to pay outstanding registration fees 14 days prior to the ASM or Continuing Education Day may result in cancellation of a single or group registration. 

Confirmation of your Registration
Your registration and payment will be acknowledged in writing with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form within 48 hours of booking. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your form. The registration form is an approved Tax Invoice by the Australian Tax Office.

Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Event Managers at events@actra.org.au – no refunds will be made for non attendance at the ASM or Continuing Education Workshop. For cancellations made after Friday 12 July 2019, 100% of the registration fee will apply (no refund). A delegate may attend in your place if the event organisers are notified in writing 7 days before the event.

Goods and Services Tax (GST)
The GST is a broad-based tax of 10% on most goods, services and other items sold or consumed in Australia. For international visitors, a tax refund may be sought at the airport for goods purchased beyond the value of $300 and which are carried with them in their hand luggage when leaving the country. A tax refund is not available for goods or services consumed in Australia therefore the GST component of event registrations fees, accommodation, tours, etc. are not claimable.

Insurance 
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants carry their own risk for personal injury or loss of property, including baggage, during the ASM and Continuing Education Day. We strongly recommend that, at the time of booking your travel and tours, you take out a travel insurance policy. This policy should take into account loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, and financial loss incurred through disruption to accommodation or travel arrangements due to business failures, strikes, or other industrial action. ACTRA or the Event Managers, CLEMS Event Management, cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. Insurance must be purchased in your country of origin.

Disclaimer 
ACTRA including the Event Managers will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants or loss or damage to their personal property as a result of the conference or related events. Neither ACTRA nor the Event Managers, CLEMS Event Management, are responsible for any loss or damage as a result of alteration to the program, cancellations or postponement of the ASM or Continuing Education Day due to unforeseen occurrence or any other event that results in staging of the conference being impractical or impossible. Delegates are encouraged to take out their own insurance as necessary to cover potential losses.

Privacy Act 
Australia introduced the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 in 2001. The Event Managers comply with such legislation which is designed to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information. Information collected in respect of proposed participation in any aspect of the ACTRA ASM or Continuing Education Day will be only used for the purposes of planning future events and may also be provided to the organising body or to organisers of future events. It is also usual to produce a ‘Delegate List’ of attendees at the ASM and Continuing Education Day and to include the individual’s details in such a list. The Privacy Act 2001 provides that, before your name, email address, organisation and state/country and any further details can be published in the list of the conference delegates for distribution to fellow delegates or any other party, you must give your consent. If you DO NOT wish to have your name and details included in the Delegate List please indicate this on the registration form.
